How do I install CollectionsDock?

One click from your browser's store: CollectionsDock on Edge Add-ons or CollectionsDock on the Chrome Web Store. After install, click the CollectionsDock icon in your browser toolbar to open the side panel.

If you're an alpha tester and want to side-load a specific developer build instead, the raw zip and developer-mode steps are in the collapsed section on the install section of the home page.

Where is my data stored?

By default, everything you save lives in your browser's local extension storage on your machine - it never touches our server. If you turn on sync (Pro), the contents of your collections are stored on our server in Germany so other devices you sign into can fetch them. See the privacy policy for the long version.

How do I delete my server data?

Email extensions@postreality.no with the subject "delete my server data" from the email you signed in with. We wipe it within 7 days. A self-serve "Delete server data" button is on the roadmap.

To wipe local data, uninstalling the extension from edge://extensions clears it immediately.

Why isn't sync working?

Check these in order:

  1. You're signed in. Open the extension's options page (right-click the toolbar icon → Options) and confirm "Signed in as ...".
  2. The sync button (↻) in the side panel header isn't showing a ⚠. If it is, hover for the error message and let us know what it says.
  3. Your network reaches our server. Try collectionsdock.postreality.no/healthz - you should see {"ok":true}.
  4. You're on the latest build. Reload the extension from edge://extensions and check the version in the side-panel footer.

If none of that helps, email extensions@postreality.no with the error you're seeing.

How do I subscribe to Pro?

Open the buy page, sign in with Google, pick monthly or annual, and we'll route you to Stripe Checkout. Your 14-day free trial starts immediately and you can cancel any time before it ends without being charged. You can also start a subscription from inside the extension's options page.

Is there a free trial?

Yes - every new Pro signup gets a 14-day free trial. You'll enter a payment method at signup so the subscription can continue without a hitch when the trial ends, but nothing is charged during those 14 days. Cancel any time during the trial and you won't be billed. The trial is available once per account.

Does CollectionsDock work in Chrome / Firefox / Safari?

Chrome and Edge are both fully supported, each with its own store listing: Edge Add-ons and Chrome Web Store. Firefox and Safari need a separate build because of API differences; they are not supported yet.

How do I report a bug?

Email extensions@postreality.no. Include your Edge version, the extension version (shown in the side-panel footer as vX.Y.Z · <hash>), what you expected, and what happened instead. Screenshots help.
